Straight from Acapulco, Mexico. And adopting Los Angeles California as his second home. Junkie Kid exploded into the scene when his collaboration “Krakatoa”, with DJ Carnage was released in 2014 under Tiesto’s label ‘Musical Freedom”. After some years of making, playing and breading Hard house this extremely talented producer now found his way to the Neorave scene. His style covers a variety of different influences, ranging from techno and trance to hardstyle and EDM. 

This musical brainiac was officially dubbed ‘JUNKIE KID’ for his affinity of hiding all of the junk food, the keyboard, and himself in his room for hours and days on end. A real music junk and great producer born and raised in a former lavish celebrity beach paradise, to the now modern day narco ghost town, not much more needs to be said about the possibilities of even accessing proper musical equipment growing up in Acapulco. Junkie Kid proved everyone wrong and has grown to be recognised as one of the top DJ and Producer imports from the entire country of Mexico as a whole. 

Junkie Kid has toured around the globe performing at some of the most notable venues and festivals currently produced, such as EDC Las Vegas & Mexico City, Global Dance Denver, Bootshaus Cologne,Germany , Escape, Wonderland, Dancefestopia, Skyway Theatre, Belasco LA (SOLD OUT 3 times), SPACE Miami & Chengdu, Chinese Laundry (AUS), and more. While his tracks are supported by key players like Nico Moreno, I Hate Models and Charlotte de Witte, to name just few, the Junkie Kid journey has just began..
